  • Air squat. The air squat (so named to distinguish it from a weight-bearing squat, such as a back squat or a front squat) is simple to execute and is a great way to tone your legs. Simply place your feet at a slight angle just a little further than hip-width apart. Then your butt goes back and then down (this is important so you’re not leaning forward) till you are below parallel (meaning your butt is below your hip crease). Then you stand up and repeat. The air squat trains your lower body, primarily your thighs and glutes.
  • Push up. The push up is the classic way to work your chest muscles (or your pectoral muscles), your shoulders (or your deltoids), and your triceps. Depending on how close you put your arms next to your body will determine how much of your tricep you are working. The standard push up is where you put your hands shoulder-width apart and keep your body straight. With a tight core, you’ll bend at the elbows and touch your chest to the floor, then push back up. Repeat.
  • Pull up. The pull up trains a lot of muscles, including your lats, biceps, upper back and forearms, trapezoids, rhomboids, obliques, and a host of other minor muscles. The pull up is one of the most effective bodyweight exercises for toning your upper body.   • Tricep dip. Tricep dips are primarily used to tone your triceps. Here, all you need is a bench or a chair that is stable. You bend your knees with both of your arms straight on the bench or chair and then bend at the elbow to a 90 degree angle. Your heels will push into the floor, and then you straighten your arms back up.
